The principle of mass spectrometry ionization method based on MALDI-TOF

08.04.2014

FIRST STAGE: Ionization (MALDI)
To conduct mass spectrometric analysis is necessary, primarily, to transfer atoms and neutral molecules, components of any organic or inorganic substance to the charged particles - ions ...
SECOND STAGE: SORT IONS (TOF-MS)
Principle of TOF-MS (Time Of Flight Mass-Spectrometry) is based on fixing the time difference achieve sensor ions with different mass ...

Antinuclear autoantibodies.

06.05.2010

Antigenes to which are formed antinuclear antibodies (АNА) (t. № 601, 602) can be divided into three groups:

1.  Nuclear acidic antigens: dsDNA, ssDNA, nuclear RNA

2. Extractable nuclear antigens: Sm, RNP, Scl 70, Jo-1

3. Cytoplasmatic antigens: SS-A, SS-В (was detected in both the nucleus and cytoplasm).

ANAs are found in patients with a number of different connective tissue diseases...

Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody.

06.05.2010

Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) are autoantibodies directed against antigens found in cytoplasmic granules of neutrophiles and monocytes. ANCA are used as diagnostic markers for systemic vasculitis.
ANCA recognized by their reactivity with cytoplasmic antigens in neutrophils. Three groups are recognized:

  1. perinuclear (p-ANCA),
  2. cytoplasmic (c-ANCA)
  3. atypical (X-ANCA)....
